Job Description
As a Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to the store's success and ensure customer satisfaction.
Position Details
- Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers as needed
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and perform assigned duties
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Proficient in general cleaning tasks and adherence to company standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
