Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers through merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Collaboration with our team and providing exceptional customer service will be at the core of your responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
- Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
- Adhere to company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe operation of equipment
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience preferred
