As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Give feedback to management on products and inventory
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate cash register efficiently and accurately
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in retail preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
