Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store is merchandised, stocked, and maintained to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, cleaning, and collaborating with fellow team members to uphold ALDI's standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills guidelines
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
- Follow all established policies with a focus on security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe and proper handling of equipment
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow company standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and multitasking abilities
- Meet all state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience equivalent may be considered
