Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and well-maintained. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the customer shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask professionally.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is an advantage.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
