Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Conduct inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe and proper use of store equipment
• General cleaning to uphold company standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Capability to work independently and in a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
• Combination of education and experience relevant
