Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and general store operations.
• Take part in inventory counts as per guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements to handle and sell alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
