Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team will be key responsibilities in enhancing the customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and neatly stock shelves.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures for security and confidentiality.
• Perform general cleaning duties up to company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and provide courteous customer service.
• Aptitude for safely using equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Capable of multi-tasking, following instructions, and staying organized.
• Ability to meet local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
