Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and maintaining the store's appearance. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and ensuring the store is clean and organized.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Take part in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages, complying with state and local regulations.
