Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining a clean store environment, you will be an integral part of our team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with the management team.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures and company policies to uphold security and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Adherence to cleaning standards and company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience considered.
