Job Description

Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) and be a crucial part of the team responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for customers. As a Store Associate, your role will involve collaborating with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's overall success.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, neatly stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers during their shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register with accuracy.
• Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and within a team environment.
• Maintain organization, attention to detail, and follow instructions efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
