Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a great shopping experience for our customers. Your role will involve collaborating with the team, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Assist customers and communicate effectively with the team and management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow established policies while upholding security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task efficiently
• Meet all state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience considered
