Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a pivotal role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall store presentation. Your dedication to exceptional customer service and teamwork will contribute to an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain data security and confidentiality.
• Complete other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Capable of using equipment like electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
• Ability to follow company policies, communicate clearly, and work independently or in a team setting.
• Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail work experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the job requirements.
