Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service, merchandising products, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or above.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of general cleaning tasks following company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work well independently and in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience that demonstrates equivalent knowledge.
