Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI values and competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Adhere to company policies to maintain confidentiality and security.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operations.
• Skilled in operating store equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
