Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's operations and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and contributing to the overall store cleanliness. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Position Type:

Full-Time

Average Hours:

32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Comply with company policies and maintain document security

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Customer service and cash register proficiency
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience is preferred
