Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to the management team.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies while maintaining document and data security.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Physical Demands

The role involves stocking merchandise, lifting objects up to 45 pounds, and general store upkeep tasks that require physical abilities such as bending, reaching, and carrying.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Able to follow cleaning standards and company procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capacity to work independently and collaborate within a team setting.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and relevant experience is considered.
