Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team will enhance the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling procedures to prevent losses
• Adhere to company policies and maintain document security
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18
• Proficiency in customer service and operating a cash register
• Ability to safely use equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Capability to work independently and in a team setting
• Organizational skills with attention to detail
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales (if applicable)

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience considered
