Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by ensuring the store is well-maintained and providing exceptional customer service. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to uphold the company's standards and values.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to prevent losses.
- Follow company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Able to safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and within a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Fulfill state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
