Full-Time Store Associate (New Store)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at the new ALDI store location. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Collaborating with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and support customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies while ensuring document security and data confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement is 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe and proper use of store equipment
• Capability to maintain cleanliness to company standards
• Interpretation and application of company policies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail work experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
