Job Description
We are currently hiring for the position of Checker/Driver at ArcBest II ABF Freight in Honolulu, HI. As a City Driver in our team, you will be an essential part of maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring efficient cargo pickup and delivery services using the latest technology.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, primarily in proximity to the consolidation/distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers following standard techniques and procedures.
- Responsibilities and schedules may vary based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement is 21 years old.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience is preferred; training may be available for less experienced candidates.
- Must hold a Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Strong work ethic and stable work record are essential. Safe driving records are mandatory.
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements is necessary.
