ArcBest II ABF Freight is seeking a dedicated Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. As part of the leading LTL carrier in the country, you will play a crucial role in the delivery and pickup of cargo, using your skills to provide exceptional transportation and logistics services to our customers.

General Description of Duties

• Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Utilize proper techniques to load and unload trailers like a dock worker.
• Responsibilities and schedule may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience required (Training available for candidates with less experience).
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Stable work record and safe driving history.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and medical requirements.
