Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our team at Broad Ripple - Service Experts. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic, service, and installation of plumbing in residential and light-commercial environments. Your work will involve ensuring compliance with relevant plumbing codes, completing repairs, and communicating effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve customer problems professionally and accurately.
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems, identifying potential issues to prevent breakdowns.
- Install, repair, and test pipe systems, fixtures, and piping appliances.
- Interpret blueprints, review codes, and plan pipe installation procedures.
- Maintain plumbing and/or gas licenses as per regulations and company standards.
Qualifications
- High School diploma with formal plumbing training and four years of relevant experience.
- Current plumbing and/or gas license as required by regulations.
- Proficient mechanical aptitude and knowledge of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Effective communication and time-management skills.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions and lift heavy items.
