Job Description

Genesis Health is looking for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN at Genesis Health, you will play a vital role in the Resident Assessment Process by completing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Care Area Assessments (CAAs) to ensure quality patient care and proper reimbursement. This position involves direct involvement in developing individualized resident Care Plans and training interdisciplinary team members.

Position Highlights

• Lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process in compliance with guidelines.
• Contribute to the development of resident Care Plans to meet Federal and State regulations.
• Provide training on clinical content and electronic completion of MDS items to new team members.

Requirements

• Active LPN license.
• Prior experience in healthcare facilities.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and regulations.
• Computer proficiency, especially in Windows applications.
• AccuMed experience preferred.
• Previous experience as an MDS Coordinator advantageous.
• BLS/CPR certification.
