Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Manager in Training to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will undergo comprehensive training on all store operations to prepare for leading your own store successfully. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store activities, ensuring top-notch customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies while nurturing and guiding the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day store operations to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Embody the company's core values and encourage teamwork among employees.
  • Handle customer concerns swiftly and effectively.
  • Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards.
  • Participate in the hiring process and manage staff schedules.
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles and expectations.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance employee performance.
  • Manage store budgets and monitor inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
  • Understanding and application of company policies and procedures.
  • Prior retail experience, with at least 3 years in a progressive role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Travel flexibility within divisional requirements.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
