Manager in Training

Job Description

We are seeking a Manager in Training to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of store management to prepare you for running your own store successfully. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies while mentoring and leading the store team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve store performance goals.
• Implement and uphold company strategies and values to foster teamwork and employee engagement.
• Manage customer concerns and maintain the quality and presentation of products.
• Participate in hiring, scheduling, and training of store personnel.
• Develop and communicate job expectations to ensure effective performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support employee development.
• Monitor store budget, inventory, and merchandising to meet company standards.
• Ensure a safe and organized store environment for employees and customers.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in providing excellent customer service and driving team performance.
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
• Effective communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Prior retail experience with at least 3 years of progressive roles.
• Experience in management is preferred.
