Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial semi tractors and trailers.
• Write detailed work orders, handle mobile road calls, and work in the yard.
• Provide top-notch customer service.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi-truck and trailer components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Maintain hubs, axles, and replace parts as necessary.
• Inspect, service, and replace trailer components including tires.
• Check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Test all systems and equipment for optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation safety regulations.
• Document repairs, compile inspection reports, and report findings to management.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of trailer repair experience and at least 2 years of diesel repair experience.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift over 100 pounds.
• Basic computer skills to submit repair information for billing.
• Follow oral and written instructions efficiently.
• Basic reading and writing skills for customer repair orders.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in welding.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL.
• Possess your own tools.
