Job Description
ArcBest II ABF Freight is currently seeking a Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team in Honolulu, HI. Our City Drivers are pivotal in fostering strong customer relationships by ensuring efficient and timely cargo pickup and delivery using cutting-edge technology.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform cargo pickup and delivery tasks within designated areas near the consolidation/distribution center.
- Load and unload trailers following established procedures, similar to dock workers.
- Duties and schedules may vary based on terminal location requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience is preferred; training available for applicants with less experience.
- Must possess a Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Demonstrated stable work history and strong work ethic.
- Clean driving records (MVR and previous employers) essential.
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screen and medical requirements.
