Part Time Stocker/Cashier

Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Part-Time Stocker/Cashier and contribute to enhancing the customer shopping experience in a collaborative team environment. As a Stocker, you'll be responsible for stocking shelves, maintaining displays, and ensuring a pleasant shopping atmosphere. As a Cashier, you'll process customer purchases, provide exceptional service, and uphold cash policies. Both roles involve teamwork, attention to detail, and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Position Type

Part-Time (Fewer than 30 hours per week)

Starting Wage

$17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain displays (Stocker)
• Process customer purchases, provide exceptional service, and adhere to cash policies (Cashier)
• Operate machinery and follow safety procedures (Stocker)
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Stock and organize inventory, operate equipment, and follow safety guidelines

Physical Demands

• Sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store
• Ability to stock merchandise up to 45 pounds at various heights (Stocker)

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective time management
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
