Part Time Stocker/Cashier

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Stocker/Cashier to join our collaborative team at ALDI. As a valued member, you will be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearances, and delivering top-notch service to our customers. This role offers daily variety and the opportunity to be an essential part of our team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and share relevant information with leadership.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Operate registers or machinery efficiently.
• Uphold store cleanliness standards and neatly stock shelves.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Follow inventory guidelines, monitor accuracy, and adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and create attractive merchandise displays.
• Operate machinery safely and adhere to all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of company products and services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is an advantage.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and related equipment.
