Job Description
We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join the team at Aldi. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer purchases, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean shopping environment. As a Stocker, your role will involve stocking shelves, rotating products, and operating machinery safely. Both positions require excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and a focus on providing outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to the direct leader.
• Uphold security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility.
• Cashiers: Process customer purchases, provide exceptional customer service, monitor inventory accuracy, and adhere to cash policies.
• Stockers: Stock shelves, maintain product freshness, create merchandised displays, organize inventory, and operate machinery safely.
Qualifications
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Effective time management and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Cashiers: Efficiently operate a cash register and comply with alcohol handling regulations.
• Stockers: Safely operate equipment like electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
