Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker to join the ALDI team and contribute to enhancing the customer shopping experience. As part of a collaborative team, you will operate registers, stock shelves, maintain store appearance, and provide excellent service to our customers. This role offers variety and new challenges daily.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with leaders.
• Uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform cashier duties: process purchases, maintain cleanliness, assist customers, monitor inventory.
• Perform stocker duties: stock shelves, rotate products, follow merchandising guidelines, operate machinery safely.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of company products and services desirable.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently (for cashiers).
• Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages per state and local regulations (for cashiers).
• Work safely with equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, etc. (for stockers).
