Patient Care Tech / PCT Med Surg Cardiology - Great Benefits

Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join our Cardiology Medical Surgical team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a PCT, you will work closely with nursing and medical staff to assist patients with daily activities, monitor their progress, record vital signs, and provide basic patient transport services.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Observe and report patients' progress to medical staff.
• Record vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping services.
• Measure and record patients' intake and output, as well as assist with range of motion exercises.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Preferred: Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic certification OR currently enrolled in nursing school.
• Preferred: Two (2) years of experience in acute or long-term care.
