Job Description

We are hiring a full-time Patient Care Tech (PCT) for our Medical Surgical unit at Hillcrest Hospital Cushing in Cushing, OK. Join a compassionate team dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our patients. As a PCT, you will assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and medical care under the guidance of our nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, including meal delivery and patient mobility.
• Help with personal hygiene and basic medical care tasks.
• Check vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
• Serve as a valuable member of the healthcare team by supporting nurses and staff as needed.
• Adhere to professional standards and follow facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in multiple areas of practice within the hospital setting.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in acute or long-term care.
• Preferred: Completion of CNA, PCT, or EMT-P certification, or current enrollment in nursing school.
