Payer Account Executive, National - Medicaid (Remote)

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a talented Payer Account Executive with a focus on Medicaid accounts. As the National Payer Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Fee for Service and Managed Medicaid accounts. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure market access for Jazz's product portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and the ability to lead cross-organizational projects while upholding Jazz's core values.

Responsibilities

• Execute on market access strategies for Jazz products within assigned Medicaid Accounts.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize reimbursement support services.
• Lead cross-organizational projects and teams to address access obstacles and capitalize on opportunities.
• Negotiate rebate agreements with target payers in alignment with Jazz contracting guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of pharma/biopharmaceutical experience with a focus on Account Management in Medicaid.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with key individuals within National Accounts.
• Proficiency in Business Acumen, Communication Skills, Critical Thinking, and other Jazz core competencies.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, JD, or PharmD preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with specialty products, rare disease drugs, and pull-through in a specialty market.
• Clinical knowledge in areas such as Sleep/Neuroscience or Oncology preferred.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
