Responsibilities

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care.
  • Observe and assess patient condition, reporting changes when necessary.
  • Document all activities and assessments promptly.
  • Participate in updating nursing care plans and achieve expected outcomes.
  • Provide education to patients and families on self-care techniques and disease prevention.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
  • CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

  • Six months of recent clinical care experience.
  • Previous home health experience.

Skills/Abilities

  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and reposition patients.
  • Strong sense of touch, smell, and ability to respond to emergency situations.

Environment

Must be capable of working in various environments with possible exposure to allergens, blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
