Private Duty Nurse LPN

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Private Duty Nurse LPN to join Aveanna Healthcare, one of the nation's leading homecare providers. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients, working closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient condition, report changes, and implement care plans.
• Document all activities and nursing actions accurately and promptly.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.

Preferences

• Six months of recent experience in a clinical care setting.
• Home health experience.

• Strong organization and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient repositioning.
