Registered Nurse - Per Diem - Emergency Department

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis in the Emergency Department at The University of Vermont Health Network. In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
• Utilize the nursing process to ensure quality patient care.
• Interact effectively with patients, families, staff, and management.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Registered Professional Nurse license in NYS.
• Experience in Critical Care is preferred.
• 1 year of past medical/surgical experience as an RN.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities.
