Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network's Emergency Room to provide exceptional patient care using the nursing process. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the Emergency Room using the nursing process.
• Interact with patients, families, staff, and management with a high level of interpersonal skills.
• Work collaboratively with other health personnel.
• Handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse license in NYS.
• One year of past medical/surgical experience as an RN.
• Experience in an ambulatory care setting or physician office practice is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work outside normal hours when required.
