Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for managing patient care in the Emergency Room, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Interact with patients, patient's families, staff, and management with a high level of interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with other health personnel to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS.
• Previous Emergency Department experience preferred.
• One year of medical/surgical experience as an RN.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
