Retail Assistant Store Manager, Visual Merchandising

Job Description

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join the L.L.Bean family as a Retail Assistant Store Manager, Visual Merchandising at our Wayside Commons store in Burlington, MA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving business results, nurturing talent, and ensuring the delivery of our legendary customer experience. As a key partner to the Store Manager, you will champion Retail strategic initiatives, manage P & L performance, and uphold L.L.Bean's core values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class customer service and guide staff to do the same.
• Implement captivating visual merchandising plans in the departments.
• Communicate and enforce consistent priorities for visual merchandising.
• Ensure accurate implementation of merchandise plans and seasonal floor set directives.
• Execute store marketing directives, promotions, and pricing needs.
• Contribute to employee recruitment, training, and development.
• Promote the Learn, Try, Buy, and Enjoy experience.
• Lead compliance with Loss Prevention policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 2-Year Associates Degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, preferably in a high-traffic retail environment.
• Strong visual merchandising skills with experience in showcasing departments and apparel.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and service goals.
• Proven leadership qualities in motivating and developing employees.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.
