Retail Sales Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and provide exceptional customer service.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning duties and following company guidelines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience is welcome.
