Retail Sales Associate

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the store's cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Comply with company policies, uphold security and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register.
• Proficiency in using store equipment and following cleaning standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
