Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, and maintaining the store's appearance. You will work closely with the Aldi team to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling procedures
• Adhere to company policies and maintain document security
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capability to follow company policies and procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
