Job Description
We are seeking a Specialty Sales Consultant for the Indiana North region at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As part of our commercial team within The Sleep Business Unit, you will be responsible for promoting our products, establishing and managing business relationships with healthcare specialists in your assigned territory, and executing marketing strategies to achieve our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Educate healthcare professionals about Jazz Pharmaceuticals' products and approved indications.
- Achieve sales goals and Key Performance Indicators.
- Organize and facilitate meetings for the exchange of medical and product information.
- Analyze territory business to understand prescribing patterns and decision processes.
- Utilize resources to educate and influence healthcare professionals on product benefits.
- Prepare and execute a tactical plan for your territory in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians and other professionals.
- Comply with legal and regulatory guidelines in all activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Specialist sales experience preferred, particularly in neurology, pulmonology, psychiatry, or sleep.
- Strong knowledge of CNS therapeutic sales, REMS, and managed care criteria.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; post-graduate business training preferred.
Work Environment
- Frequent travel and interactions with healthcare professionals.
- Operating office equipment and supporting materials during sales calls.
- May require work outside normal hours to meet business demands.
- Professional appearance and attire for public interactions.
Salary
Base pay range: $112,000-$168,000. Additional benefits include annual bonus, equity grants, medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k, and flexible paid vacation.
