Job Description

The Department of Psychological Services at University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a full-time Staff Psychologist to work with Adolescent Medicine in evaluating and providing psychological services to young people with eating disorders. The role involves program development, diagnostic evaluation, psychological intervention, staff consultation, and clinical supervision. The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program, at least 3 years of post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology, and a strong background in treating young people with eating disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological services in an Adolescent Medicine Clinic.
  • Contribute to program development and provide diagnostic evaluation.
  • Offer psychological intervention and clinical supervision.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology and completion of internship and postdoctoral training.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology.
  • Strong working knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy and family-based interventions.
  • Experience in treating young people with eating disorders.
