Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Stroke care to join Advocate Aurora Health in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As part of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurses team at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with neurological diagnoses such as Strokes, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and brain injuries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and compassionate patient care by assessing needs, planning and implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, ensure patient safety, and promote a positive patient experience.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, professional development activities, and maintain required certifications.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin.
• Basic Life Support certification by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Demonstrated skills in communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
