Stocker/Cashier (Part-Time)

Job Description

We are currently looking for a part-time Stocker/Cashier to join our team at ALDI. As a Stocker/Cashier, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and assisting customers. This position offers variety and a dynamic work environment where each day presents new challenges.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader.

• Uphold security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves neatly, and provide exceptional customer service.

• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and scanning errors to management.

• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.

Stocker Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, rotate products correctly, and maintain merchandise displays according to planograms.

• Organize new inventory, remove empty boxes, operate machinery, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.

• Excellent verbal communication skills and effective time management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
