Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Associate to join our ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. values
• Process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness of the store
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store counts
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Capability to work independently and in a team setting
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior retail experience (preferred)
• Combination of education and experience
