Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Store Management Trainee at Aldi. As a Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to learn all aspects of successfully managing a store, preparing you for a future leadership role. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies while supporting and nurturing the team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day store operations to deliver top-tier customer service.
  • Communicate and model company values to foster teamwork among employees.
  • Handle customer concerns effectively to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards.
  • Participate in the hiring process and manage staff schedules.
  • Review performance, provide feedback, and identify training opportunities for staff.
  • Assist in inventory management and merchandising to optimize product availability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team.
  • Good understanding of budgeting, personnel costs, and operational expenses.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; prior management experience is preferred.
